How It Works – Ingrown Hairs
Ingrown hairs occur when a hair follicle becomes clogged with dead skin cells. If those particles – also known as the “dead layer” – aren’t removed, they trap hairs under the epidermis. The result is an ingrown hair that’s painful and inflamed.

How It Works – Razor Bumps
Razor bumps appear when the hair is cut off where it exits the skin, curls back and starts growing inwards.
