Brands like Milk and Glossier confuse me. They charge an OBSCENE amount of money for their products that are so "subtle." If I'm paying that kind of money for products, I want pigment. I want results. I want it to look like I've put on makeup. I know I'm not alone in that. It just feels like a rip off to me. Thank you for trying these brands out, so we don't have to! 🙂

I think they mean for everything to be sheer, marshmelows are soft so I feel like this is the thing they're going for? You could also get the same result with cheaper eyeshadows, but this eyeshadow just goes with their aesthetic which is probably why they didn't make them look more pigmented?
it's not actually marshmallow it's marshmallow powder which reduces swelling

this is kind of a hot mess. (not you, the palette. you're fabulous.) how can you charge $36 for the most half-hearted pigmentation ever? at least with colourpop it's $5 a shade and some of them have CRAZY intense color.

I think an issue is that you tried to treat these like a typical powder shadow in application and colour placement.

EVERY single review of Milk products that I've seen has been 'hey this looked awesome and sounded new and crazy and fun!!' then it doesn't work. I dunno I really want to enjoy milk but they seem more style/gimmick/idea than actual quality.

I bought the liner stamps too! Just a heads up, they are much easier getting off your face than your hand… but, that doesn't mean they come off easily. I went a bit crazy on my face and hand when I got them the other day. I still have a polka dot hand, but I did get them off my face that first day, with difficulty. I had to go between cleanser and coconut oil a few times. They're so darn cute though! I'll still use them, just not as much as I'd hoped.

I got a deluxe sample of the Milk blur stick primer/base from Sephora and it didn't really work for me…. maybe because it was small and not the full-size? I rubbed it on my face and I tried to get it all over but it was kind of difficult because it was a small stick and I thought blending it would work but it didn't and I didn't know it didn't work until after my foundation was on……and there were streaks all over my face ???
