How are you going to make a video stating these new lights increase trichomes and then in the last 15 seconds say you haven't personally tried so leave our evidence below? I love you and your products but kinda weird IMO.
been using a black light in my grows for 15 years not a perfect uva light but noticed increased trichome so i just kept using it knew i was onto something lol
I've used a tiny reptile purposed uva & uvb lamp in 2016 and that started some growing!
Since then, i'm totally convinced and recommend using uv lights.
Out of nowhere, normal to weak plants became loud af, hard hitters!
I love the UV light effect. I have all kinds of them. Be careful how early you use them, or you'll get a ton of branching from the plants in veg. Best to wait til a few weeks into flowering. Also, I have the UV/FR light meter, so I can measure outside the PAR range. Very useful for getting the lights the right distance away. I've had great harvests with the UV lights on them. and always wear protective glasses in the grow room. stuff will blind you for days.
It would have been nice to know of any particular example of this kind of light, or where one might get one, how expensive they are, etc…
Stay away from name brand lights, the cost is NOT worth the minimal difference.
My first LED's were before any plant LED's.
I used Kessil LED's that were for growing coral and now they make plant spectrums too. Will be cool to try the new ones with UVA out there now.
Green House real Sun is still my fave with supplemental LED for cloudy days.
I really like FOHSE but they are pricey.

According to Dr MJCoco, UV/IR has never been proven to add any benefit and it’s just a gimmick that the light companies are using. So somebody is wrong.

This one got me thinking. Let me go check what type of UV- A B or C does my no name brand ebay led lights have? I've been using them for 2 years now.. Turns out its UV-A ? and they are using the 365nm wave length.. there is another "type" UV-A 395nm wave length. This is closer to visible light. Not what you want apparently… look for lights that use 365nm wave length..
Seems like grow dots are the same as osmocote?
With growdots is it one tablespoon or one teaspoon. The bag says one thing and the website says another

UVA IS 100 TIMES WEAKER THAN UVB. IF YOU ARE USING UVA YOU ARE WASTING YOUR ELECTRIC. ffs the misinformation around this is a joke. The light sellers know its too expensive to make UVB LEDs so they are scamming people with UVA leds which are worthless.
With new LED lights my buds are big , fat , & frosty . No extra work to cut into doobie time .

From what I have heard you can't get uv light from led lights. What do you now or understand?
Can you leave the UVA on all flower? I've used it last grow, but I only had them on for 15 min beginning of light cycle and 2 hrs at mid day of light cycle.

I am trying the new kind 750 LED with built-in IR. I'm only in week 6 of flowering but they seem to be covered in sugar I'm growing The Strain glueberry.
So other than the sun ? and if money wasn't an option which light would you wake up tomorrow and buy? Or is someone close enough to a new release that someone should just wait for it?

Dr.brucee bugbee from apogee says that he has not been able to make the plant produce more cannabinoids using UVA light. And Ed rosenthal says that the potency of thc is dependant on the amount of UVB light cannabis plants recieve. I grow with uva and uvb light and produce some of the hardest hitting flower around lol. If you only use UVA your growing better smelling mids lmfao.

Every canna channel like clockwork is hyping up new equipment at the cost of pushing garbage junk on you so they get the top of the line free stuff cause of the willingness to lie to the masses for profits no matter what.
I've noticed if I add uva at week 6 the plants get a bud swell faster then without, I get more color in the buds with uva, I thc test every plant and thc has not gone up using uva but I do find my buds to be stickier when grown with uva
personally I think uv technology is too new to mess with. the number 1 factor that made me not want them is the fact that they lower the lifespan of your regular LED's so not worth it to me.
hands down for LEDS 3000k to 5000k will give you the best results from seed to harvest.

At the hydroponics store they have 110 wat single bar with 2 rows of led and they are linkable now ask yourself what part of the plant does not get light? So for veg and to get the most out of your plants if you lay or connect these lights to the bottom poles angle them to hit all the lowers it will increase growth equally not just the tops thus creating more tops from lower growing branches that aren't getting light that we usually cut off

Been growing the same strain for the past 5 years. The last 2 grows, I've added UVA and a CO2 generator. I can say these 2 additions have greatly increased how frosty and fat the flowers turn out. I only use the UVA for the last 4-5 weeks of flower, starting off with 2 hours of UVA and gradually increasing the time every 3 days by 1 hour until they are getting 8 hours of UVA. I add in the CO2 generator when I flip to flower as it's not really needed during veg. DIY CO2 Generator: Sugar, Water and Bakers Yeast, mixed into a cup and set on the tent floor. Replace weekly.
I don’t think it is practical to jump so quickly into this situation. If it works don’t fix it
I think Bruce Bugbee explicitly explained that there are no changes in cannabinoids when using UVA.
