  1. About the paper at around 3mins; the control group's placebo, isnt it possible that the cream they used exacerbated collagen breakdown or slow its 'growth'? (i have 0 knowlegde of collagen btw) but if that were the case, that would compromise the comparison, the results. Did they account for that?
Also, (intuitively) wrinkle formation seems to be primarily a result of Internal processes. So the solution of applying topically seems counterintuitive; the body is usually very skilled at counterbalancing anything that it receives from contact with the environment, its build to do just that. What i mean to ask is, does it have longterm effects also? As in, improvement over years and decades. The body doesnt 'compensate' for what is regularly applied to the skin because it doesnt recognize it as 'being part of its system'? Or is that not a thing?

  2. Hi,

I am using Tretinoin 0.025 every night. Is it safe to use this topical cream for years? should I use it as long as I want if I don’t see any effects?

  3. Now in Canada you can’t find tretinoin 1% ? even with dr’s proscription , it’s banned I guess only .05 is available . I used 1% and now back to .05 unfortunately so is it ok or what should I I do

  4. I have been using it for a month and i have so many spots on my face… It makes me feel so insecure to leave my house. My skin was actually really good before, i have started using retinols because of all the good benefits of it… But now im feeling so dumb and down..

  5. I have a lot of dark spots and some area’s have pigments on my skin and my skin is dull tell me best retionds otc products for long term periods I use without prescription

  6. I love it that even your videos are relatively longer, they are all full of very useful information and you don’t waste a single second on random bs… I’ll talk soon to my dermatologist about the possibility of using a retinoid because BP has been doing nothing for my face except redness and irritation since 2 months of use. Thank you doc

  7. I have tried Retin A, Retinols, AHA’s, BHA’s, Niacinamide, Vitamin C, etc., but nothing helps my skin?????

I’m in my 50’s with combination skin, more oily in the summers, with visible pores & textured skin.
Very sensitive skin, and am of south Asian descent.

Would like to try Microneedling, but am scared of any scarring or hyperpigmentation.
